Zachary Tobi Akintoye was born on 12th June 2002 at Guy's Hospital in Southwark, London and grew up in the London Borough of Newham, East London.

Zach grew up as an only child with his mother and uncle in Deptford, South-East London, then moved to Newham in East London when he was three-years-old. Whilst growing up in East London, he attended Plaistow Primary School and then attended the secondary school, Brampton Manor Academy.

Zach grew up in a Christian household and with a Christian background and he too is and always will be a believer and follower of Jesus Christ. "Every book I write and every story I tell, I dedicate it to first and foremost my lord and saviour." It will be found at the beginning of every book of a scripture from the Bible that relates to the story. One of Zach's favourite stories of all time is the war in heaven. "I would want my series to be inspired by the war in heaven because it is the first ever, most epic and the most ongoing fight of good vs evil."

Although Zach loved books and comic books, it wasn't his first love. His aspirations in life was to become a professional footballer. However, later in his teenage years his talents did not get the recognition from scouts. On the other hand, by the age of fifteen, he discovered his hidden talent which was storytelling in his English class. Zach always loved his science fiction, fantasy and superhero novels such as Marvel Comics, DC Comics, the Harry Potter series, Hunger Games, Maze Runner and Twilight saga. Zach has a huge interest in good vs evil but he never forgot the books he still loves today which his mother read to him as a child. His favourite books growing up was Matilda, George's Marvellous Medicine, Holes and A Christmas Carol. Zach loved his horror books as he would read Stephen King's IT over and over. "If I ever write a book, I'll want it to be up there with the greats," he once said. "Where I'm from, people think I'm weird for collecting comic books, they would say its a bit nerdy, but although they would never understand my love for fiction, I continued to collect and read more stories and felt its okay to be a nerd."

Zach was a introverted person as he would go home from school to read books, comics, watch movies and play video games whilst his friends would go out partying. After coming home from the English class he discovered his hidden talent, he wanted to improve his writing skills and to this day continues to improve his skills and expand his mind of creativity by writing plot notes, new characters, settings and plots to future stories he would love to tell.

Another day at school, a question arose in the class of "what superpower would you choose" and Zach's answer was always, fire control. That would spark the idea of creating a superpowered character with fire control and therefore create his first book "Inhuman Pyro: Pyrokinesis." Zach always wanted to create his characters based on his own personality, including the villains. He also wanted them to mainly be from London as he believes there isn't enough superheroes and supervillains that are British and the ones that already exist are not glorified enough. Zach wanted to create a hero from his area, just like how Stan Lee and Steve Ditko created Zach's favourite fictional character Spider-Man and was based in the same city the creators were born. Zach wanted to create the Inhuman Pyro from London and various superheroes and supervillains being from London. From the age of sixteen onwards, Zach's dream was to create a series of books that would reach billions of readers across the world, translated into many different languages and would want to revolutionise the genre of science fiction and superheroes. The dream doesn't end there as he would want to learn and write other genres he loves as much as science fiction, such as Crime, Western and Horror.

The last thing left for Zach was his name. He wanted to keep his first name simply because that is individually who he is, but for months went through multiple pen names until he stuck with "Knight." The reason for the name "Knight" was simply because in all the books he will write, it will have an element of conflict, and growing up, Knights in shining armour were the most fascinating warriors in Zach's eyes. Therefore Zach would stick to the name "Zach Knight" as a name he would want to be remembered for. Zach now spends his time writing complete manuscripts for his series and continues to expand his creativity as a storyteller.
